The School hosted a terrific Family Evening at the Swiss Club in June. While the kids watched movies and ate Swiss-style sausages from Walma’s Continental Butchers in Bayswater, the parents ate a delicious cheese fondue dinner in the Swiss Club Restaurant.
Host Roger and staff made a great fondue for all. The pot of melted cheese was preceded by Bündnerfleisch, accompanied by a mixed salad and followed by a fabulous dessert buffet.
During the evening we ran a silent auction that helped cover the cost of the food for children and teachers. Bosch kindly donated a new vacuum cleaner. Texts with bids came flying until the cut-off time when Lisa was declared the winning bidder. Here she is loading the new In‘Genius ProSilence into her car.
The following week Lisa’s son had his birthday party at home after which the birthday boy and the pets helped clean up. Lisa said “The vacuum came in very handy and we can’t believe how quiet it is!!! Our rabbits were happy to follow it around for a play too 🐰🐰”
Thank you, Bosch Australia!
