Introducing our new adult class teacher

Servus! Moin! Grüß Dich! I’m Jeremy Wong, the new teacher for the adult class. As you might guess from my surname, I don’t exactly have German heritage (I’m an ABC) but that hasn’t stopped me from falling in love with the German language and German-speaking cultures.

I currently teach German part-time at the Presbyterian Ladies’ College and am excited to join this community to share the language with enthusiastic students. I have been to Germany on three separate occasions and twice to Austria, my favourite country outside Australia.

I use a systematic and structured method which focuses primarily on listening and speaking and is designed to build confidence in understanding the grammar of German as a firm foundation for becoming fluent much quicker in the language.

I run two separate adult German classes on Saturday mornings at the Clifton Hill Primary School. The first class is for the more beginner level and goes from 9am to 10:30. The second is slightly more advanced and runs from 10:30 until noon. Whether you’re already part of the GSS community or not, you are welcome to come to both and see which one best suits your current level.

I look forward to meeting you soon,
